Hello DILAW–ers!
It is August 1 which means it is officially my birthday month! And, as co-founder of DILAW and supporter of all ladies, I’m giving up my birthday for Do It Like A Woman, Inc.
The Cup Your Cakes! Fundraiser will run month long with a donation goal of $240.( For all you clever gals & gents out there, you may know why I picked this number…) And, while $240 is a small goal, I would LOVE to be “wow”-ed & exceed this number…that would be the icing on the cake!
Furthermore, I encourage every lady on August 21 to “cup your cakes” do a self breast exam & when you do, let’s keep the DILAW spirit going by donating a $1 (or more).
& hey you, guys!– Do you have a leading lady in your life (mom, sister, cousin, aunt, friend, wife, girlfriend)? spread the news about the fundraiser & get them proactive about breast health–it could save their life & it also makes you look really good.
